What Do You See?

Take a good look around you,
What do you see?
People warring and dying,
Or people in harmony?

Take a good look around you,
What do you see?
Tyrants being punished,
Or tyrants walking free?

Take a good look around you,
What do you see?
People hungry and in poverty,
Or people in wealth and prosperity?

Do you feel any emotion
When you witness the commotion,
The chaos and the pain?

You are not barred,
Imprisoned or tortured;
You are not orphaned,
Terrorised or cornered.

Yet, you find it hard
To simply pray
For those children killed,
Whilst in innocent play.

Take a good look around you,
What do you see?
Are you prepared to let others suffer,
While you walk blind and free?
